BASIC - Basic Assessment & Support in Intensive Care
Join us at Orange Health Service on Saturday, March 14th, and Sunday, March15th, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for a hands on assessment and support in Intensive Care course.
This comprehensive 2-day course, organised by the Intensive Care Unit at Orange Base Hopsital, is designed to equip healthcare professionals with the essential skills and knowledge to effectively manage critically ill patients, particularly during the post-resuscitation and stabilisation phases.
Key topics covered include:
- Mechanical ventilation
- Vascular and intra-osseous access
- Trauma management
Participants will benefit from a combination of lectures and hands-on workshops, followed by a post-course assessment to evaluate learning outcomes.
Prior to commencement, participants will receive:
- A course manual
- Access to the BASIC app
- Pre-course assessment
Upon successful completion, participants will receive:
- A certificate of completion
