The use of bows to shoot arrows has been a part of global history for thousands of years whether for defense, survival, or sport. This basic archery session provides instruction to those new to archery and shooting time to those already familiar with bows. All equipment is provided, although our equipment is not suitable for youth under eight years of age.
Space is limited, so advance registration and payment is required. The program fee is $7.18 per person. Restrooms and water are not available at the archery range. Groups of over eight people can request a session for your group at times other than the regularly scheduled sessions by contacting: bcguide@dcr.virginia.gov.
