🎨 Make & Take Crafternoon: Barn Quilt Workshop

Join us for a relaxed and creative afternoon at Harcourt Memorial United Church as we host a Make & Take Crafternoon Barn Quilt Workshop in support of the community.

This guided workshop is designed for all skill levels — no prior crafting or painting experience needed.

⭐ What You’ll Create

Each participant will create an 11” × 11” layered wooden barn quilt, perfect for a front door, entryway, or wall.

  • All materials are provided
  • Step-by-step guidance throughout the workshop
  • A calm, welcoming pace designed for enjoyment and creativity

💲 Registration

$50 per participant

✔ All supplies included
✔ Guided Make & Take experience
$10 from every registration will be donated to support the Chalmers food bank

👧 Child-Friendly Option

A limited number of child-friendly paint projects are available for children who would like to craft alongside a participating adult.

  • $30 per child
  • Age-appropriate design
  • All materials included

✨ Additional Project Options

A small number of alternate kits may be available by request for participants who would prefer a different project. Please note, these are for participants who will be joining someone who has ordered an original barn quilt.

Please indicate your interest when registering.
Pricing may vary for alternate options.

🕒 Important Details

  • This is not a drop-in event
  • Pre-registration is required
  • Please allow approximately 2 hours for crafting and drying time
  • Projects will require drying time before transport
  • Space is limited to ensure a relaxed crafting experience

Light refreshments and beverages will be provided.

❤️ Giving Back

This fundraiser proudly supports Chalmers Community Services Centre.
$10 from every registration will be donated to help support neighbours in need through the Chalmers food bank and community programs.
