This 2-hour mandatory class provides an overview of patient care pathway stressing the critical role of the patient for success. This class must be taken in order to obtain credit to have your weight loss surgery. Topics to be covered during class include:
Definition of clinically severe obesity & medical impact
- Setting expectations
- Surgical procedures
- Complications
- Post-op signs and symptoms
- Side effects
- Expected weight loss
- Diet
- Emotional issues
Ticket sales will end the Sunday prior to the upcoming week’s class.
Please note that you are required to remain for the entire time and should not make appointments that could potentially conflict.
