Join our bariatric coordinator for an overview of what to expect when you have bariatric surgery at our hospital, followed by an interactive question and answer session.

This is a virtual class for patients who are scheduled for bariatric surgery at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center.

We are excited to be a part of your health journey! The goal of this orientation is to help you feel more comfortable and prepared for your hospital experience before, during, and after bariatric surgery as we cover:

Basic review of pre-surgery preparation

Pre-admission testing at the hospital

What to bring to the hospital

Day of surgery arrival and pre-op care

Post-op recovery and meeting patient goals

Discharge instructions

Common post-op concerns

Bariatric support group
