The Van Cortlandt Park Alliance works to preserve, support, and promote the recreational, ecological, and historic value of Van Cortlandt Park, including:● Elevating the visibility and profile of Van Cortlandt Park;● Advocating for and supporting maintenance and improvement projects;● Raising and managing capital and other resources to support improvements;● Encouraging and supporting appropriate uses of Van Cortlandt Park.

The Van Cortlandt House Museum

Free Bachata and Merengue dance instruction and live music by Edwin Ferreras and Edwina Chavez along with Areíto Arts musicians.  This cultural enrichment event is fun for the whole family- parents and kids of all ages welcome. Enter the park at Broadway and W. 246th Street.Special thank you to Lotus Music and Dance.This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts, with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and administered by the Bronx Council on the Arts.
