The Van Cortlandt Park Alliance works to preserve, support, and promote the recreational, ecological, and historic value of Van Cortlandt Park, including:● Elevating the visibility and profile of Van Cortlandt Park;● Advocating for and supporting maintenance and improvement projects;● Raising and managing capital and other resources to support improvements;● Encouraging and supporting appropriate uses of Van Cortlandt Park.

The Van Cortlandt House Museum

Free Bachata and Merengue dance instruction and live music by Edwin Ferreras and Edwina Chavez along with Areíto Arts musicians.  This cultural enrichment event is fun for the whole family- parents and kids of all ages welcome.
