We will be in the woods again; allowing nature, yoga, and community to guide us back home to ourselves!

Our 10th summer is booked and we are beaming with joy to be able to celebrate this life-changing weekend with you once again.

Join us for a yoga festival unlike the rest; set in the forest next to the Huron River, just a short drive away from the city.

We bring the best Midwest vibe there is! This is a life-altering weekend.

The Barefoot & Free Yoga Festival is an unforgettable weekend with over 90 yoga teachers, meditators, artists, health & empowerment coaches, healers, and wellness guides from all over the U.S. gathered together in the perfect nature setting. Immerse yourself in all the magic and wisdom with yoga classes emphasizing living your best life and feeling fully alive in your body. Our festival is surrounded by the peaceful woods of Proud Lake, steps away from the Huron River and clean waters of Proud Lake. With nature trails all around us, it’s the ideal summer spot.

Included in your ticket is a weekend full of incredible events including sound healing, art classes, herbalism, nature walks, shamanic journeying, women and men’s gatherings, music, and so much more. Celebrating 10 years this summer will surely be the most magical one yet.

This year we are including more child-friendly offerings + areas for families and children of all ages. Child care is offered throughout the day, plus a bounce house, crafts, and nature activities for your kiddos all weekend. All kids under 12 are free!

New this year our flow of the weekend has changed:

- Our festival kickoff will now take place on Thursday evening with our vendor village open, performances and welcome ceremonies! Purchase a Thursday night special pass solo or as an add on. We are celebrating 10 YEARS so expect great things!

*A special note: we will have yoga accredited workshop classes at the festival this year. Yoga teachers can WRITE OFF your festival pass and gain accredited yoga teaching hours and wisdom on top of having an amazing weekend! How great is that?!

We have many different options for passes to make you feel the most comfortable and wonderful for the whole weekend! Take a look at all of the pass options below:

- Basic Camping: come be a “free bird” with us and sleep under the stars in your own tent at the campground (no power or RV's or Trailers allowed).

- READY > SET > CAMP option. We provide your 2 person tent and you just bring your sleeping gear!

- Bunkhouse (4 wings of bunk beds with shared bathrooms and showers).

- VIP bunkhouse (private room with 2 twin beds, shared bathrooms with showers and kitchen)

- VIP Bed and Breakfast: Red Poppy Bed and Breakfast is approximately 15 minutes away. There are three options: private rooms, shared queen bedrooms, a group bunkroom; and one king room. Red Poppy is on a lake, and features an indoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast each morning is included in your stay.

*If you would like to camp in a trailer or RV or have access to a power outlet, you can reserve a campsite at the Proud Lake State Park Recreation Area. The state campground is 3 miles from the festival grounds. This option is not sponsored through the Barefoot & Free Yoga Festival, you must reserve the campsite separately on your own on the DNR website and then purchase a weekend pass for the festival.

** Parking is first come, first served! We will once again have a shuttle & an overflow parking lot on Wixom. Some people bring a bike, a wagon, or stroller as it can be a WALK! You can purchase the VIP parking pass to park up close to the festival entrance! ONLY 40 parking passes are available for the weekend!
