Bar Method Fundraiser

The mission of the Associated Humane Societies, Inc., including Popcorn Park Zoo, is to consistently provide the highest quality of care to all animals, domestic and wildlife, including their rescue, housing, veterinary care, placement whenever possible, and when required, a peaceful end.  It is also our mission to prevent cruelty to all animals, primarily in New Jersey, but also throughout the United States. This shall be done through direct intervention as well as the promotion of humane education regarding the proper care and treatment of animals at both public and private levels, thereby advancing the humane treatment of animals everywhere.

AHS Tinton Falls

Join our friends at The Bar Method Holmdel & Shrewsbury for a Facebook Virtual fundraiser class on Wednesday, May 27th @ 5:30P for one hour. The instructors will give step by step guides to get that burn and shake going while enjoying your workout. Attend by yourself, have your kids in tow - the workout is family friendly! The average class burns north of 400 calories - AWESOME!! The workout includes starting with a warm-up, then moves into some upper-body exercises, pushups, a sequence of leg work at the barre (dining room chair), some core exercises, and then lots of stretching. The hour will fly by - it's so much fun :) To attend, a donation of $10.00 minimum is required. Once you register via Venmo or EventBrite - before the 27th - you'll be sent a link to private Facebook page that will host the live streaming session on the 27th. What you'll need to partake in the class from home is a yoga mat, a dining room chair, grippy socks - or regular socks if you don't have, free weights (if you have them) and your energy and smile! Chrissy and Meghan from the studio can't wait to host you. Post fundraiser, they will be offering you weekly class to take advantage of while we're still social distancing at home.
