Dean Brydon, Bryan McDonald, and Tony George, who collectively boast decades of banking experience, will delve into the complexities and challenges of navigating banking institutions through uncertain economic periods. They will share personal insights on pivotal moments, obstacles, and achievements throughout their banking careers.

The event will be moderated by Tom Cleveland from Access Business Finance. With a distinguished history, including roles as President and CEO of Gibraltar Savings of Washington, where he led a remarkable turnaround, and as the founder, chairman, and CEO of Enterprise Bank (acquired by Washington Mutual), Tom brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the discussion.

Tony George

President & Chief Operating Officer at Kitsap Bank

Tony George brings a rich background of 28 years in the banking industry, with the last 18 years dedicated to Kitsap Bank. In his current role, he oversees the bank's entire operations, including retail banking, accounting, financing, information technology, audit and risk management, and customer service. Notably, George spearheads Kitsap Bank's sustainability initiatives, fostering a culture focused on sustainable practices that benefit both customers and the community. As the founder and chair of the bank's "G-team," he has played a pivotal role in embedding sustainability into the bank's century-old legacy, positioning it as a cornerstone of future strategic initiatives. George holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Economics from Western, and he has also attended the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.


Bryan McDonald

President & Chief Operating Officer at Heritage Bank

Bryan assumed the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer at Heritage Bank in 2014. With over two decades of expertise in sales, credit, operations, commercial banking, and residential real estate, he brings a wealth of managerial experience to his position. Prior to joining Heritage Bank, Bryan held the positions of President and Chief Executive Officer at Whidbey Island Bank from 2012 to 2014. Furthermore, he actively contributes to the banking community by serving on the board of the Washington Bankers Association.


Dean Brydon

Chief Executive Officer at Timberland Bank

Dean Brydon, Chief Executive Officer at Timberland, boasts an impressive 28-year tenure with the company. Joining Timberland in 1994, Dean's journey culminated in his appointment as CEO on February 1, 2023, following notable stints as President from January 24, 2022, to January 31, 2023, and as Chief Financial Officer from January 2000 to January 31, 2023. A Certified Public Accountant by profession, Dean's leadership is underscored by his extensive financial expertise.
