Do you need any prior skills?

No this class is perfect for beginners to jewelry making.

Will we be using a torch with fire?

Yes, we will be using an acetyl torch.

Do I have to make these bracelets for myself?

No, you can make them for someone else. We can use stock measurements based on the persons age and gender. If you are making them for yourself we do measure your hand to make them fit you perfectly.

Can I make something other than bangles?

Unfortunately, not in this class for the sake of time and the other students. We do offer many other types of classes and you can reach out to us to find out more info.

How often do you run classes? What other classes do you teach?

We run classes a couple of times a week. We teach private classes and offer a variety. If you don't see something you are interested in taking just let us know.

Get hands-on and craft your own stylish metal bangle in this fun, in-person metalsmithing class!

Bangle Class - Metalsmithing

Come learn to make a stack of beautiful bangles with an introduction to metalsmithing techniques! In just 3 hours, you will be guided step by step on how to solder, file, hammer & polish. Transform sterling silver, copper, and brass wire into shiny, textured bracelets that you can wear and show off. Beginners are welcome; students with some previous experience will work on perfecting skills. All materials are included. Please bring reading glasses, if needed.
Bring beads to add as charms. And if time allows you can use scrap to create small charms to dangle off of the bracelets.
