Master the Art of Lace Front Wig Making with a Sewing Machine
Join Rhonda Robinson, also known as the "Weave Genius," for a comprehensive 4-hour class on Lace Front Wig Making using a sewing machine at Weave College. With over 20 years of experience as a licensed pro extensions stylist and innovator, Rhonda brings her expertise to this hands-on workshop.
Included in the class package is a supply kit containing machine thread, a pinwheel, practice fabric, pre-lined wig cap, wig combs, wig bands, weaving thread, weaving needle, clips, hair grippers, comb, iridescent scissors, and details on a Brazilian hair vendor, along with a Weave College backpack and a certificate upon completion.
Participants can opt for a convenient payment plan, with a $98 deposit followed by four payments of $98, with the balance due five days before the event date.
This workshop is designed for both beginners and experienced individuals alike, as no prior experience with sewing machines is necessary. Participants will learn how to create a complete Lace Front Wig efficiently using a sewing machine, utilizing either a lace frontal or a lace closure combined with weft hair. Rhonda's expertise as a former seamstress and current Hair Extensionist ensures comprehensive training that can significantly reduce wig-making time.
During the class, participants will receive a machine tutorial covering the basics of using a sewing machine, along with instruction on fitting a customer for a lace front wig, conducting easy consultations, and adding accessories to the wig cap with the sewing machine.
Weave College provides all necessary materials for the class, including a Weave College sewing machine for practice. Participants are required to bring their own lace closure or lace frontal with 2-3 bundles of weft hair, a canvas block head, a tripod mannequin stand, and a 3-4 foot extension cord.
Advance registration is essential due to limited seating, and certificates will be emailed on Wednesdays following the class.
