Art & Movement - Art of Elan returns to the San Diego Museum of Art with two special concerts that explore the intersection of art and movement. Taking inspiration from artists Helen Frankenthaler and George Rickey, listeners are invited on a musical journey that highlights kinetic energy as a means of expression, re-invigorating us individually and collectively.

Tied to George Rickey's sculpture "Two Lines Oblique: San Diego," this diverse program features music by Arthur Honegger, Nahre Sol and Osvaldo Golijov. Alyssa Morris' "Motion" for winds adds a playful element to this musical mosaic which will be held in the rotunda of the museum.
