Overview
This hands-on workshop will teach the beginner baker how to make artisan sourdough bread.
Learn the art of sourdough from starter to freshly baked loaf! 🍞
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the sourdough process from start to finish, including how to feed, maintain and care for your starter/levain (and yes, we’ll explain the difference!). From there, we’ll walk through mixing, bulk fermentation, shaping and proofing before learning how to score and bake a beautiful sourdough boule.
And because good bread deserves good company, we’ll use some of our downtime to build our own charcuterie boards to enjoy during class!
