About this event

  • 1 hour

Join Doppio Pasticceria, Rebecca Karten, and bakers formerly known as Loaf Bakehouse and Bramble Baking Co., for an evening dedicated to summer's bounty in baking. Our panel will discuss:

  • why to and where to source local fruits, grains, and other ingredients for your bakes
  • where they find inspiration
  • the challenges and logistical considerations of baking seasonally
  • how to make substitutions and decisions according to dietary needs and your budget
  • what books and resources are most useful in their baking, many of which you can find at your local library

We'll also sample summery treats made by members of the panel!
