BAHFest

An annual celebration of science with dozens of events stretching from Santa Rosa to San Jose. This festival does for science what arts festivals do for film, literature, painting, and music: it engages attention, inspires interest, and fires imagination across entire communities by offering large numbers of activities and events during a short period of time (Think festival – not science fair!). The 2016 festival stretches from 10/27-11/5/16.

Bay Area Science Festival

The Festival of Bad Ad Hoc Hypotheses (BAH!) is a celebration of well-argued and thoroughly researched but completely incorrect scientific theory. Six brave speakers will present their bad theories in front of a live audience and a panel of judges with real science credentials, who together will determine who takes home the coveted sculpture of Darwin shrugging skeptically. And eternal glory, of course.
Doors 7 PM, Show 8 PM.
