<h4>Celebrate Good Neighbor Day by learning simple ways to reduce food waste and create healthier soil at home.</h4>Join the Organics Recycling Foundation and Filthy Organics for an informative, hands-on workshop covering the fundamentals of backyard composting. Participants will learn how to transform kitchen scraps into nutrient-rich compost, divert food waste from the landfill, and improve garden soil through practical techniques and expert guidance.The workshop will include:<ul><li>Refreshments</li><li>An educational presentation</li><li>A question-and-answer session</li><li>An outdoor, hands-on composting demonstration</li></ul>Bonus: All participants will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a composting bin to take home.This workshop is part of the City of Oakland Park’s Good Neighbor Day celebration on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
