Backyard beekeeping for the curious is just that...a no pressure workshop for anyone who wants to learn more about bees!

<p>Curious about keeping honeybees in your backyard? In this class, you’ll be introduced to the basics of what it takes to start and maintain a beehive (or two) in your yard as well as connected with the resources you need to learn more and get started right! The workshop is presented by Ian Campbell, a backyard beekeeper, certified apprentice beekeeper, and member of the SC State Beekeepers Association.
</p><p>Each participant will go home with a native perennial to encourage their own bee population.</p>
