About this event

The Slickee Boys left an indelible mark on the 1980s DC music scene, making a significant impact with their relentless performances at rock clubs along the East Coast as well as touring Europe. To this day, the band holds the record for the most appearances at DC's iconic 9:30 Club.

Experience a rare reunion with band members Marshall Keith, Mark Noone, Giles Cook, Kim Kane, and John Chubris. Our panel will include Marshall Keith, Mark Noone, John Chumbris, plus - Susan Marquis- who was the band manager when U2 opened for The Slickees at The Bayou in Georgetown in 1980. Don't miss this chance to connect with the super vibrant history of The Slickee Boys...and brace yourself for a musical surprise or two. Mark Segraves, our trusty NBC4 journalist, will lead what promises to be a lively and possibly outrageous discussion.

This event is a unique opportunity to delve into backstage stories that are seldom shared beyond.... Backstage.
