Backspin 2.0

Anthony Lambers was a student at Wyoming Park High school in the 90's. This is where he met his mentor Richard Pullen(RP). Rp was a very influential person in Anthony's (Tony) life. In December of 2015 RP died of colon cancer. Anthony decided soon after his death to start a scholarship in his name to help continue on the legacy of this great man. The goal is to raise $50,000 to be held as an endowment at the Grand Rapids community foundation. Through Rp's guidance Anthony has been able to transform his life from a convicted felon who served several years in the Michigan prison system, to a successful real state agent along the lakeshore in Muskegon. Anthony's aim is to extend the same hand that Rp  extended to him and give love and mentorship back to the community youth that may have some or more of the same struggles he encountered. Mentorship is the mission and education for our youth is the goal.

<P><SPAN>Backspin 2.0 is the follow up fundraiser to Backspin 2017. Our goal is to raise as much money as we can for the Rp Scholarship Fund to benefit students from Wyoming and Muskegon Public Schools. Rich Pullen (Rp) was a mentor, coach, husband and father. He passed away in Dec 2015 from colon cancer. We look to honor him by celebrating his life and passing on his legacy of giving and caring about our communities youth.  All proceeds go to the Rp Scholarship Fund. Our goal is to reach 50k+ a year to help grow the scholarship endowment. Backspin is a 80's and 90's themed event, and dance party.  Ticket cost include entry, free photos all night, high end dinner buffet and several live performances and entertainment. Dress code is come as you are. Some dress up 80's and 90's, but it's all up to you.We have a great show lined up for you and look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces on May 5th! lets party like it's 1999 again! </SPAN></P>
