The National Association of Asian American Professionals, Washington, DC Chapter (NAAAP-DC) is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization whose mission is to promote and support the professional advancement and personal development of its members through:Sponsoring leadership and business skills workshops and seminarsDeveloping networking opportunitiesProviding professional mentoring and coachingPartnering with corporations to support their diversity initiatives and Asian representationThe membership includes a diverse group of Asian ethnicities, who have various educational backgrounds from business and marketing to science, engineering and technology. Our professionals work in multiple industries that include finance, consulting, technology, manufacturing, legal, academia, and government.

School will be starting soon! Where did the summer go? More importantly, will the kids be ready to return? Part of getting ready is to have all the necessary school supplies to kick the year off right!
NAAAP DC and Bank of America are partnering up to pack backpacks for back-to-school. We’d love to see you on Wednesday, August 14th, and help us pack. Supplies will be provided, just bring yourself AND a bookbag! 
Backpacks will be donated to Title I schools in DC through The National Center for Children and Families’ Neediest Kids program.
THIS IS A FREE EVENT! Come when you can, stay as long as you’d like - every little bit helps! Event will start at 6:30 P.M. at the Bank of America building on 1800 K Street NW. Wine and snacks will be provided for additional merriment!
