Workshop Overview
Don’t end a sentence in a preposition. Eliminate passive voice. Never use a sentence fragment. Raise your hand if you’ve heard these so-called “writing rules” over the years. We all have ideas about what makes good writing, but writing rules and concepts have changed over the years. This Lunch & Learn will focus entirely on writing—the backbone of all our association media, whether it’s a magazine or a Facebook post.
This workshop is a great opportunity for communications directors and editors to invite newer colleagues or junior staff writers to attend with them.
