Get ready for the new school year at The Boro with an outdoor screening of School of Rock, hands-on crafts, and sweet treats for the whole family!Families are invited to gather on the lawn for a laid-back evening to kick off the school year. Boro Park will become an outdoor movie theater, complete with themed activities, DIY stations, and a make-your-own candy bar.This community event will feature interactive activities and creative stations for kids and families alike, plus a chance to give back to local students through a school-supply drive.Event Highlights🎬 Outdoor Movie Screening – Settle in on the lawn for an outdoor movie screening under the stars. The movie begins 7:45-8 pm —arrive early to grab the best spot!🎧 Pre-Show DJ – Enjoy an hour of music from a live DJ to kick off the evening before the movie begins✏️ School-Themed Craft Stations – Get creative at hands-on craft stations designed to build excitement for the school year ahead✨ DIY Bedazzling Station – Personalize school supplies with a little sparkle💎 Glitter Tattoos – Guests of all ages can show off their back-to-school spirit with fun glitter tattoos🍬 Make-Your-Own Candy Bar – Build the perfect movie-night snack at our candy bar, stocked with sweet treats📚 School Supply Drive – Bring a new school supply to donate and help local families through Share of McLean, giving students what they need to start the year ready for successBring your family, grab a blanket, and enjoy an evening of movies, creativity, and community as we celebrate the start of a new school year together!This event is free and open to the public.Giveaways and select activities are available while supplies last.Guests are encouraged to bring a new school supply item to donate to Share of McLean.
