<p>Agarita&#x27;s Bach-inspired program explores Baroque influences on traditional instruments, using the gorgeous, resonant Motherhouse Chapel to explore sound and timbre in a unique way. Baroque works, including masterpieces by J.S. Bach, are paired with works inspired by that era, including Preludes and Fugues by Shostakovich, the famous Passacaglia of Handel-Halvorsen, Arvo Pärt’s epic violin work Fratres, and Caroline Shaw’s Limestone and Felt, which plays with texture and resonance in refreshing ways. </p>
