Baccalaureate is the annual worship service for the graduating seniors and their families; due to COVID-19, only limited seating available
Wittenberg University's Annual Baccalaureate Service is held each year in Weaver Chapel on the day before Commencement, featuring members of the Senior Class in various roles. Seating is limited in 2021, due to COVID-19 restrictions, and tickets must be obtained to attend in-person. The service will be also be livestreamed on Wittenberg University's Facebook page. Members of the senior class provide reflections, read scripture, offer prayers and music. A memorial candle is lit, and in 2021, we will remember Cosmas "Cossy" Catanzaro, a member of the class of 2021 who died in 2018. The service lasts approximately an hour. Pre-service music begins at 4 pm on Friday, May 14th, 2021.
