About this event
Need something to do with your preschool child ages 2-5? On the FIRST and THIRD Fridays of the month you can experience some fun on the farm at Bee Wings & Fuzzy Things where you can explore the surroundings, have some hands on fun, have a snack and story time and even touch some of the animals! Each experience will be a new theme that's developmentally appropriate and full of fun learning experiences for your littles!
Healthy snacks will be provided during each event for the preschool children. More information will be sent once you register.
Please keep in mind that these sessions will all be outside or in our barn so please dress appropriately for the weather AND getting dirty is guaranteed! 😊Physical wellness will be encouraged to get all those muscles going.
Please remember we are a working farm and NOT a petting zoo and though our animals are friendly, they can, like any animal, be unpredictable. Safety rules MUST be followed or the child may be asked to leave.
Refunds will not be given but can be transfered to another day.
Frequently asked questions
This experience is only recommended for children 2-5 but if older siblings must attend the theme will be young for them and they must understand that activities are geared towards the younger group. There will be a $10 charge for all siblings up to the age of 16.
Absolutely! If there’s a dietary need you are certainly welcome to bring your own snack.
A port-a-potty is available for your use. We will have hand sanitizer and wipes available.
Although we are animal lovers, we do not allow any outside pets as we have several animals who may be fearful of your pet and we also are training some of our guard dogs at this time. Please keep your pets at home for everyone’s safety.
If mom and dad both want to attend with their child(ren) that is great! Up to two adults may attend.
Parents are their child’s first teacher. They learn from you and you have a huge influence in their early years! Adults will help guide children to stay safe and follow safety rules while on property.
Dress according to the weather but also in OLD shoes and clothing. A farm is dirty and we all will get dirty!
