This class discusses the important things to consider asking when interviewing babysitters and preparing to leave your baby for the first time. We will also cover what to look for in a daycare or preschool.

We will try to answer all those common newborn questions that come up in the first few weeks and months - hopefully, this class will put your mind at ease.

Join us for our Baby Basics series every Thursday at 10 am. This 𝙁𝙍𝙀𝙀 class is geared toward pregnant moms and those with babies under 3 months old, but all are welcome! Meet at the Breastfeeding Center at Parkside for a casual, informative, and fun class with your newborn (and other new parents and babies at a similar stage). You will also have a chance to weigh your baby on our baby scale, and there will be a time for questions at the end of the class!

'Sitters and Schools' is part of our 6-week series, Baby Basics. We cover different topics each week from bringing home your baby, to how to pick a daycare, to feeding. You can join in at any week, at any point in the series. Check out our events page to see other topics and dates.

This is a free class and everyone is welcome to attend. Registration is appreciated, but not required.
