What happens after the baby is born? This class will walk you through what happens once your baby is born. From in the delivery room, what to expect during your hospital stay to how to care for your baby once you go home. Parents will feel more prepared and confident about coming to the hospital and how to take care of their baby once they are home. We will cover basic information such as feeding, holding, swaddling, infant safety, safe sleep, bathing, comforting your infant and how to tell if your baby is sick. Parents will have the opportunity to practice changing diapers, swaddling and safe handling during this interactive class with guided instruction. Parents attend one class, with classes being offered twice a month. No classes will be held in December.
All classes are held on-site at Tennova Healthcare - Clarksville in our Liberty Rooms.
