WCM&Gopened our doors in February 2011, located on the historical Beale Street. We feature the amazing historical photographs of the world renowned photojournalist, Dr. Ernest C. Withers, coveringCivil Rights, Music, Sports and Memphis Life Style.We are a non-profit organization whose mission is toEDUCATEthe public of American History andPRESERVINGthe works of Dr. Withers.

The tenth anniversary of Dr. Withers’ passing will on Sunday, October 15th, 2017 which we have named “BABA DAY”. We are commemorating his life at WITHERS COLLECTION MUSEUM & GALLERY located at 333 Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee. The celebration will have entertainment, refreshments, and fun. There will be "Reflection in History" guest speakers that have a connection with Dr. Withers and his work. Deborah Watts, cousin of Emmett Till will be our featured speaker. The entertainment will be concentrating on the youth and promoting the local talent in Memphis. FREE ADMISSION
