Ayurveda (the study of life) is the holistic system of health that arose in India alongside yoga. For yoga practitioners and teachers, Ayurveda can be a beautiful complement to your practice. Ayurveda invites us to take the same consciousness, kindness, and self-awareness we cultivate on the yoga mat and bring it into the rest of our lives. By offering a toolkit of daily and seasonal health habits for self care, Ayurveda provides the opportunity to experience holistic, conscious living. Many yogis and yoginis find that when they discover Ayurveda, it rounds out their life, giving them an empowering framework for balanced health of body, mind, and spirit that supports their yogic path. In this workshop you will learn about:-Ayurveda’s approach to health &amp; the different Ayurvedic body-mind types (doshas). -How Ayurveda views our relationship to nature and why that’s so important for optimal health.-Simple and natural habits that lead to improved sleep, digestion, and immune function.-Seasonal tips for maintaining balanced health throughout the year.-Ayurveda’s acknowledgement of the body, mind, and spirit connection.
