Axe Throwing - Introduction (30 minutes)
Come learn how to throw an axe in just 30 minutes at our fun training event! Several upcoming dates to choose from!
This introduction to Axe Throwing class will teach the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and throwing an axe safely. Topics include:
• Basics of an Axe
• Fundamentals of Axe Throwing
• Range rules, scoring and selecting your first axe
• Supervised axe throwing and coaching
Throwers must be 12+ years of age, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the Axe Range which is located between the Clubhouse and garage right behind Frank’s House. All throwers are required to wear closed-toe shoes when throwing axes.
Groups are limited in size to ensure safety. Axes will be provided by the club. Sessions may be scheduled back-to-back, so please arrive early for your class.
Cancellation/Noshow Policy: This class is very popular, if you sign up and and then decide not to attend, you must go back to the EventBrite site and cancel your registration to free up your slot for someone else at least 3 days prior to the class date. If you do not do so, you will be invoiced for a $25 "No Show" fee. To cancel a registration: 1. Go to the EventBrite site and log in (www.eventbrite.com). 2. click on the "My Tickets" link. 3. Click the "View Order" button for the class you want to cancel. 4. Click the "Cancel Order" button and confirm.
