We are a not for profit organisation with the mission of inspiring the world to live a conscious and purposeful life.We do this through experiences that incorporate music, movement, breath and awareness.All profits from our events will be used to introduce yoga and meditation into schools across Sydney to help raise a conscious generation and to change the path of the world.Our community is making the world a better place by being the change we want to see in the world.

START YOUR WEEKEND WITH PURPOSE AND MEANING!
We meet in the morning to connect and dance with like minded souls in an alcohol free environment. 
Starting with 45 minutes of deep house yoga to calm our mind and open our heart. Surrounded by positive energy, we party to uplifting house music in a special 3 hour journey curated by Meraki, the creator of Awake Sydney.
Meraki sees music as a flow of feelings, fused artistically creates a journey of emotions and energy. This is the fundamental belief which allows him to create unique memorable experiences. Meraki's creativity developed as he travelled around the world. His time spent playing at the Ministry of Sound London shaped his style of inspiring melodies, euphoric breakdowns and constant surprises. 
Expect sounds heard in Ibiza and Berlin, and the energy from experiences like Tomorrowland and Burning Man. Let the music take us to places beyond our imagination and feel the unconditional love thats within our hearts. 
Get ready to experience music that speaks to your soul.

Awake Australia will be using part of the profits to facilitate meditation practice in Australian schools, helping to raise a conscious generation that will begin the process of transformation, a human tide that would no longer permit a system, a government that isn’t aligned with the greater good of the human race and this precious planet we call home.

Awake Sydney Schedule
8:30 - Doors open (please arrive earlier to give your body and mind time to get ready)
9:00 - Deep House Yoga (Theodora Spathis)
10:00 - Doors open for the Party! 3 hours of soulful house music with Meraki
13:00 - Qi Gong Practice (Breath, movement and intention setting) with Dan Anthony (NU4YU) 
13:30 - End of event.
FAQs
Dress Code:
Allow yourself to express your imagination and ready to dance. 
Are we required to bring our own yoga mats? 
Eco friendly TPE material yoga mats will be provided. Feel free to bring your own if you wish. Cloak room available. 
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
This is an 18+ event.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Bus: Catch the 891 from Central station to UNSW, (Eddy Ave, Stand D) dropping you right at the Gate of UNSW. 1minute walk to the Roundhouse. 
392, 394, L94, 396, 397 and 399 operate along Elizabeth St in the City.
370 from Leichhardt, Glebe, Newtown,Green Square & Coogee. 400 from Bondi Junction, Airport, Rockdale, Burwood. Other services include routes 302, 303, 357, 359 and 410.
Parking: Free weekend on campus parking (limited) and street parking. Carparks available both via Baker st and Botany st entrances into UNSW. 1 minute walk to the Roundhouse. 
What can I bring into the event?
Positivity and an open mind is all your'll need. This is a a drug and alcohol free event.

A digital copy of the ticket with your barcode is ok.
