Calling All Trail Lovers!

Come volunteer with LA County Parks and help us improve the Avocado Heights Trail. Situated in an equestrian neighborhood and enjoyed by horse enthusiasts, this trail needs some TLC!


NOTE: Detailed meet-up instructions will be posted soon.


Volunteer Activities:

Winter rain has caused extensive damage to LA County trails throughout the region. In Avocado Heights, the trail has experienced significant rutting, wash outs, and weed growth. Volunteers will work to:

• Repair the trail surface to improve safety and drainage

• Remove weeds covering the trail


What to Bring:

• Gloves

• Water bottle

• Sun protection (hat, sunblock)

• Sturdy, closed-toe shoes

This event is for ages 14 and up. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
