AVM: The Book Launch 'We never go out anymore! There’s nothing good on! I need to feel something! I want to meet people!' A book, a party. Music, drinks, merch, performance… brought to you by your favourite newsletter.Animal Vegetable Mineral has been publishing weekly for three years. Started as a free newsletter on the now discontinued TinyLetter, it has grown into a rich community on Substack and beyond, with a clear visual and written tone, and loyal following. At the end of this month, the elusive duo behind AVM are launching their first book. Billed as an anthology of letters, a printed acknowledgement of growth, the150 pages are a testament to the power of print media, the beauty of creative collaboration, and carving out a niche in good faith that people will soon follow. The event is free to attend, will feature soundscapes by a local DJ associated with the brand, and feature live music too. The book will be for sale, as will a limited run of merch, currently not for sale elsewhere.
