Our 2022 virtual IRA training program, in partnership with Ascensus, is scheduled to take place Tuesday & Wednesday, September 27 & 28.

Under the direction of AVCU’s Education and Scholarship Committee, and with the assistance of our training partner Ascensus, AVCU’s virtual program will take place, in whole or in part, contingent on the receipt of sufficient early bird registrations to guarantee that AVCU achieves a financial break-even point.Essentials gives attendees a solid foundation of IRA knowledge. Exercises are included to help participants apply information to job-related situations. Attendees will leave this session able to work with IRA owners and process basic IRA transactions with confidence. This is a beginner's session - no previous IRA knowledge is assumed.Advanced IRAs builds on the attendee’s basic knowledge to address some of the more complex IRA issues that credit unions may handle. This is an advanced session - previous IRA knowledge is assumed. Each registration includes a download link to a PDF version of Ascensus’ comprehensive training guide which serves as a year-round reference and instruction by a knowledgeable professional with several years of IRA training experience.
