The bandoneon, the iconic instrument of tango, also has deep roots in the music of Johann Sebastian Bach. Used to develop technique, professional tango bandoneonists have extensively studied his compositions. This duo combines these two traditions in one concert to demonstrate the versatility and beauty of the bandoneon.

They will play the music of Johann Sebastian Bach as well as tango music from the Golden Era (1940s-1950s) to Piazzolla to contemporary tango.
