Paradox Opera

Autonomy is a concert/art gallery created in response to the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

<p>Autonomy is a creative project in response to the June 24, 2022 overturning of the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade decision. We will present a concert of new works written by women and non-binary composers, performed by Soprano Alissa Roca (she/her) and Anja Arko (she/her). The premiere performance will take place outside of the North Carolina Legislative Building on the Mall in Raleigh, NC, with subsequent performances to be presented alongside a curated art gallery of new works by artists of all genders &amp; sexualities. These pieces are intended to be experienced together with the hope of creating a powerful multimedia experience for the audience. 40% of all art sales will go directly to the artists. For the safety of our performers, masks will be required for all indoor performances. Masks will be available at the door.</p>
