Şerife Wong is a Turkish-Hawaiian artist and founder of Icarus Salon, an arts organization exploring politics, culture, and technology. She is an affiliate at O'Neil Risk Consulting and Algorithmic Auditing and an affiliate research scientist at Kidd Lab, UC Berkeley. She serves on the board of directors for Digital Peace Now and is the culture and AI governance lead at the Tech Diplomacy Network. She has been a resident on artificial intelligence at the Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center, a research fellow at the Berggruen Institute, and a resident at the Media Enterprise Design Lab. She was selected as one of 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics in 2021. She frequently collaborates with the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences at Stanford.
