Welcome to the Harvard Club of the North Shore!One of the oldest Harvard Clubs in the country welcomes you!Membership is open to the more than 3200 graduates of Harvard University, parents of current or former undergraduate students, current students, employees and staff of Harvard and Honorary Degree recipients residing on the North Shore of Massachusetts. We are committed to providing our members with enjoyable social, educational and cultural activities.Our Club Mission is to foster fellowship by providing social activities, business and career networking opportunities and educational programs to our members.

This is our first Authors Night and eleven authors have answered our call.  Guests will be free to circulate around the ballroom and visit with the authors and view and discuss their books while enjoying hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.  Topics included are: the history of the North Shore and Plum Island, ninth century England and Scandanavia; elephants; Marblehead wallpapers of 1760; healing; 1813 U.S. overseas imperialism; poetry; classic racing yachts; Victorian John Ruskin; family crises; 19th century feminism in Marblehead; 65 years on Muskeget Island, arithmatic and calculus for school children; Mary Shelley, author of Frankenstein; and energy wars.
 
Hawthorne Hotel, Salem.  The Hawthorne's great hors d'oeuvres will be served starting at 7:00.  The cost is only $18 for HCNS/HCMV members and $20 for all others.
