About this event

One registration gets you access to both sessions as well as the social hour for PRH authors!

Penguin Random House is thrilled to invite you to Author University Bonus Sessions 2024, a half-day virtual learning event featuring a selection of breakout authors and social media experts giving advice on the topics that impact authors the most.

Join us for Author University on Tuesday, March 26th, from 1-4 p.m. ET on Zoom. The topics we will cover include “How to Start and Grow Your Author Newsletter” and “Mastering Video on Social Media.” The sessions will be followed by a social hour for you to connect with other PRH authors.

Full schedule information is below. Prior to the event, you will receive Zoom links for the sessions and social hour. As always, Author University is completely free and open to every Penguin Random House author. You can view the previous sessions at this link.

Order of events (all times ET):

MARCH 26

1 - 2 p.m. | How to Start and/or Grow Your Author Newsletter with authors Valarie Kaur, Elise Loehnen, and Nicola Yoon.

2 - 3 p.m. | Mastering Video on Social Media with social media manager and strategist Payton Mitchell in conversation with Richard Wylde, Associate Director of Creative Media Strategy & Distribution for Penguin Random House.

3 - 4 p.m. | Zoom Social Hour for PRH Authors!

Registration is non-transferable, and it cannot be shared with anyone outside of Penguin Random House. Each registrant will be confirmed individually as an author. For those who can’t attend the event live, recordings of the panels will be posted to the Author Portal.

There will be a Q&A portion in each session. We encourage you to submit your questions for the panelists in advance to portaladmin@penguinrandomhouse.com. Please designate which panel the question is intended for.

Penguin Random House has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment of any kind and expects all participants (including attendees, speakers, and staff) to conduct themselves respectfully.
