Author Pete Carvill presents 'Death of a Boxer' at Shakespeare & Co.

British author Pete Carvill will present his new book Death of a Boxer, telling the life and death of a Scottish fighter who passed away in after a bout in 2016. The book, already hailed as one of the year's best sports books in the UK as a 'literary masterpiece', also tells of the lifecycle of boxing from the young boys starting out to the old men looking back with regret and nostalgia at their careers.

Exclusive to Shakespeare & Co., Pete will aso be reading from his work-in-progress second book, A Duel of Bulls, which will tell of the strange-but-true 'friendship' between Orson Welles and Ernest Hemingway.
