She grew up in the Lakeside Homes housing project with her family. Keisha is a 1988 graduate of the former Pontiac Central High in Pontiac Michigan. Growing up Keisha was a curious child who asked her mother many questions. One of those questions has taken Keisha a lifetime to figure out and understand. Now over forty years later she can say that she is who her mother and grandmother say that she is. The question and the answer are found in the pages of her book, Amid the Twisted History, An American Negro Story. Keisha’s hobbies are reading the word of God, she likes reading history, and archeology. Keisha loves spending time with Frank her husband of 28 years. Keisha also loves to spend time with her children and grandchildren. Keisha has been a vegetarian for over 27 years and loves creating new healthy recipes. Keisha likes camping, resale shopping, and making her clothes.
