The night will begin with an introduction to Authentic Relating Games, proceed through a series of games that facilitate connection, and end with approximately one hour of free time to mingle.

This event is for you if you are single, between the ages of 35 and 55, interested in being more authentic, and want to meet other single people to form a circle of friends.  If you are interested in meeting others to date, you are also welcome to attend; however, this is not a requirement. Bring a single friend or come solo!
Even though this event is being held at Noe Valley Ministry, this is a secular event; all religions as well as atheists, agnostics, and the non-religious are welcome.

What are "Authentic Relating Games"? Authentic Relating Games are a fun and unique way to experience deeper connections. They are

<LI>Profound and playful icebreakers</LI>
<LI>A simple format to break old patterns of communication</LI>
<LI>A playground for trying out new ways of interacting</LI>
<LI>Exercises that teach us tools to understand and be understood by others</LI>
</UL>
During the night, you will be guided through a journey of interpersonal experience. Using safe, powerful, and interactive games, we'll explore depths of connection rarely achieved in a single night, while having full permission for our boundaries and experiences.
By the end of the night, even though you may have just met these people, you may feel like you've known them for a long time. Many people express entering a room full of strangers and leaving feeling like lifelong friends.
From meditative depths of presence and ecstatic heights of joy, to somber melancholy and heart-pounding fun, you will be guided on an experience all the way through the human condition.

FAQs
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is free street parking in the neighborhood.  In terms of public transportation, there is a J Church Muni stop at 24th and Church St, approximately 3 blocks away from the event.
Please note if you are using Google Maps to get there, two locations of Noe Valley Ministry come up, the correct one and an old location.  The correct location is the one north of 24th Street at 1021 Sanchez St (not south of 24th Street at 1270 Sanchez St).

What's the refund policy?
7 days in advance you will receive a complete refund.  Less than 7 days in advance there will be no refund.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Yes, as long as it is a person of the same sex. If you would like to give your ticket to a person that is not of the same sex, please email us at authenticdatingsf@gmail.com. Thank you. We are trying to have a balance of genders.
