This is a benefit show to help aid wildlife affected by the Australia bushfires. All proceeds will go to Wildlife Victoria.

Featuring...Dr Goon and the Daily TribuneTABAHDenim MatriarchMcNasty Brass Band---Dr. Goon and the Daily Tribune is a hip-hop, G-Funk, and electronic jazz band led by artist Ian McCarthy and bassist Nick Benish, combined with a tight group of musicians: Andrew Tomten (Purple Funk Metropolis, Tabah, Wry Samurai) on Saxophone, Tarek Abdelqader (Purple Funk Metropolis and A.P. Simpson) on drums, Colin Peters (Willows and Dawn of Time) on Guitar, and Andy Colburn (Boats &amp; Bridges and Witch Hunter General) on keyboards/synthesizers, started in the basements of Como and working their way through the Minneapolis music scene. This band makes for exciting live shows, combining refined story-telling lyrical content with a sound influenced from old school hip-hop loops of Dr. Dre and J-Dilla and jazz funk like Herbie Hancock. Their debut EP "Goonsax" (2019) is available on all streaming services.---The four-piece Minneapolis-based band Tabah is often called out in the local press about its vocalist, Cecelia Erholtz. The word “Earthy” gets used a lot, and while not inaccurate, it leans into a place that is smaller than what is actually required to describe her. As a matter of fact, Erholtz’s “Earthy” vocals communicate something more universal than what could be attributed to any one planet. They could be “Jupitery,” or “Saturny,” and even Heavenly on Tabah’s debut album Symmetry Somewhere, scheduled for release on March 17th, 2017.Together – and Tabah’s musicians really do sound like they are playing together – the band takes this music to a unique place where psych-heaviness and ethereal-wisp combine in a way that hasn’t necessarily been heard like this before. Consider this: Symmetry Somewhere is a head-bobbing, mind-bender of an album that was recorded in Nashville, and could pass for folk in its quieter moments, but is still loud enough to piss off neighbors by blowing off their doors.----Denim Matriarch is a progressive rock group from the slums of Minneapolis. Comprised of friends Nathan Levin, Jon Lindquist, Sam Ruff, and Will Burnton, Denim Matriarch has been making music since 2011 and draws from many different styles and influences. The cauldron of ideas each member brings to the table creates a unique sound, with blended aspects of blues, experimental, and psychedelic hard rock.---McNasty Brass Band is a collection of Minneapolis/Saint Paul based horn players and percussionists that fuse the Minneapolis sound with the spirit of New Orleans. The outcome of this fusion is hard-hitting dance music and high-energy live shows. Each player works tirelessly outside McNasty Brass Band as a side-man, some with national and international touring acts. That’s what makes McNasty special-- these youthful but experienced side-men come together and showcase their compositions, solos, group vocals, and stage presence as front-men. “McNasty Brass Band is a perfect example of why you shouldn’t make fun of the kid who is super into trumpet in 5th grade” (twincitiesmedia.net).
