The tour will begin at 1:00 pm and will last for three hours. This will include the walking tour and stopping at the historic houses. The tour will begin and end at the Aurora Historical Society.

Is this a guided tour?

There will be a program identifying homes on the tour, as well as facts about other historical places, such as the Aurora Cemetery. When entering the historic homes, volunteers inside will share stories of the homes.

Is the home accessible for individuals with disabilities?

While the Aurora Historical Society strives to make our home tour accessible to all visitors, there may be some aspects of the historical homes that are not accessible due to grandfathering. Our tour guides are available to assist you.

Can I take photographs during the tour?

If the homeowner has agreed to allow photography, it will be labeled as such in the program. We kindly ask that you refrain from using flash photography to preserve the historical artifacts and decor.

Is there parking available?

Parking is available at the Aurora Historical Society (Lower Level of the Aurora Memorial Library). Please follow provided signage to park your vehicle conveniently. You can then walk to the homes.
