Aurora COE ESP Workshop 2

The Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF) is a DOE Office of Science User Facility that enables breakthroughs in science and engineering by providing supercomputing resources and expertise to the research community.

This is the second workshop in a series of COE (Center of Excellence) training and hands-on events for the Early Science Program. This workshop will focus on hardware architecture and software stacks that will be availble on Aurora. Attendance is restricted to Aurora ESP and select ECP members. Your attendance is not confirmed until you receive an email from ALCF staff.
Note that attendance requires your institution to have a non-disclosure agreement with Intel in place, and for you to be listed on a multi-party authorization document.  Please reach out to your Project PI or contact us at <A HREF="mailto:earlyscience@alcf.anl.gov" TARGET="_blank" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">earlyscience@alcf.anl.gov</A> if you have any questions about these. If you have not finalized them, please register now but your attendance will be contingent on their completion.

Please select Tim Williams as your sponsor and fill in the justification as "Aurora ESP Workshop 2".  On the Request Resource Access page, please check only "JLSE General Resources" and "JLSE Confluence".
<H2>Step 2: </H2>
<A HREF="https://apps.anl.gov/registration/visitors/new?utf8=%E2%9C%93&sponsor_email=knepperj@anl.gov" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Complete the Argonne Visitor Registration</A>.  If prompted, click to accept the Terms, then specify your sponsor's e-mail as knepperj@anl.gov (Jeri Sue Knepper). 
Foreign nationals: Please note the Argonne Visitor Registration will request you to submit a CV/resume including educational and employment history.  In addition, please be sure to follow the instructions in the confirmation e-mail regarding uploading of visa documentation.
If you currently hold a long-term ANL gate pass, you should skip the Argonne Visitor Registration form and instead notify <A HREF="mailto:knepper@anl.gov" TARGET="_blank" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Jeri Sue Knepper</A> (knepperj@anl.gov) that you have one and its expiration date.  Please continue with Step 3 below.

COMPLETE this event registration by clicking REGISTER. 
Note: The Eventbrite message "You're going to Aurora ESP COE Workshop 2" is NOT confirmation of your attendance.  You will also receive an acknowledgment email from Eventbrite ("You're good to go...") but your attendance is not confirmed until you receive an email directly from ALCF staff.
