The Chicago Actors Studio is a well-established and recommended, reputable acting training institution with roots going as far back as 1946 when famous acting training coach and performing arts icon, Ted Liss, decided to share his masterful skills of turning ordinary everyday individuals into top known professional actors of stage, screen and television. We offer audition workshops, monologue and cold reading, accent reduction classes in our cosy studio.

Many such students that have emerged to stardom were: Tom Bosley, from the TV series “Happy Days” and “Father Downing Mysteries”, Oscar winner, Geraldine Page, for the film, “The Trip to Bountiful” etc, Billy Campbell, TV series, “Crime Stories”, starring in the Disney film, “The Rocketeer” etc., Robert Urich, starring in the TV series “Spencer For Hire” & TV series “The Lazarus Man”, Academy Award nominee, Virginia Madsen and many many more. Following his death in 1992, former student of Ted Liss, Edward Dennis Fogell, now with countless credits of his own, picked up the staff and carried Ted’s teachings and legacy forward with The Chicago Actors Studio, cultivating many more, fine professionals of the arts.
