CLASS DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this class is to help each actor master their audition and self-taping skills for stronger and more successful film, television and theatrical auditions. Work on how to best apply their creative talent and training for in-person, online, and self-taped auditions. Work on clear evaluation of audition material, making strong creative choices for the character and type of project, elimination of nervous habits and “crutches”, and honest performances.

Each participating actor will prepare a self-taped audition before class, that will be evaluated and critiqued by the instructor. In class, work will continue on the prepared material as well as new material. Actors who are preparing for an audition are encouraged to work on their audition material in class.
