The instructor Frankie Guerrero:

My experience in audio started in college where I was a DJ for the basketball games and FOH for all the clubs and parties in the area where I met other audio engineers who taught me all about gear. Also studied in creative process, history of electronic and experimental music, and electrical engineering. Didn't finish after those semesters and am hoping to get the opportunity to go back and get my degree. The most notable thing I did DJing was a set at Webster Hall years ago long before it closed for renovation. Spent nearly a decade recording/micing up bands and crafting my own music in the indie scene trading ideas with artists of various levels of success. Very talented individuals who do it purely for passion. Still pursuing the desire to create with or without income. One of my favorite moments in life was having a very in-depth conversation about mastering with Cole Alexander upstate in Woodstock for hours. He was incredibly sweet and had calmed down considerably from the performances in the earlier days. There are more artists that I've had the opportunity to meet and learn way more from through conversating, but that moment was interesting seeing someone having gone through such a profound transformation.
