Attuning to Developmental Differences

Mente Counseling & Consultation

5 week series in September 2021 every Thursday night. The dates are September 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th from 7pm to 8:30pm PT.

The primary aim of this presentation is to develop within participants a working model of how developmental differences in processing influence a child&#x27;s experience of the world. This course is divided into a 5 week series in order to examine how these differences affect regulation, attention, and social engagement and reflect on how to integrate this knowledge to foster attunement, connection, and create a supportive environment for the children in their care. If you work with young children in any capacity: as a mental health professional, teacher, occupational therapist or other, you will benefit from gaining a new perspective on the underlying processes that are at play for children.CEUs available for LICSWs, LMHCs, LMFTs in WA state.Financial assistance available for professionals who identify as BIPOC and/or LGBTQI+.
