Atlanta Shuffle Dance Class- Slides & Glides Combos (rescheduled from Apr)

In this class, you will learn how to incorporate simple slides and glides into your shuffling. This will be a beginner-intermediate level class as glides are challenging by default. I will help you break them down into more manageable concepts that you can readily apply to your practice outside of class. All levels are welcome!

The vibes in our shuffle community are always fun, judgment-free, and non-competitive. We strive for progress, not perfection 🤍

Be advised, class ends at 8:45, not 9:00 pm.

PARKING: free lot parking in the front and back

SHOES: *NO BLACK SOLED SHOES*-- the studio has white floors. Please respect the space. Comfy sneakers with a sturdy toe and flat bottom are recommended. Please refer to the FAQs on my IG page for examples.

About the instructor:

I've been shuffling since 2019 and just had my first pro gig in January 🙈. My style is hybrid (Melbourne and shapes) with a focus on freestyle over choreo.

If you’ve been meaning to learn, trying to figure it out on your own, or taking a break, come out and dance with us! My goal is to build a more robust shuffle community in Atlanta and that means dancing together :)

Updated class credit/refund policy (as of 5/24/24):

For your FIRST time missing a class, you will receive a credit good towards any future class within 6 months.

For any subsequent missed class, you will only receive a credit by giving me at least 48 hrs notice.

If you’d like to use your credit for an upcoming class, please let me know at least one week prior to the class you wish to attend. This is the only way to guarantee your spot. If you won’t know whether you can attend until closer to the date of a class, definitely still check with me. I may be able to fit you in, depending on the class.

If you miss a class using a missed class credit, you forfeit that credit.

From time to time, I guest teach at studios. These classes are owned by the hosting studio (not by me) so I’m not able to honor missed class credits or class pack credits for those classes. These classes will be denoted as such.

I’m not able to issue refunds for any reason.

By signing up for a class, you agree that you may be filmed or photographed during the class. The content may be used on my social media. If you do not want to be on camera, please let me know ahead of class and I will do my best to accommodate you :)
